I drew a charcoal sketch as a thumbnail so I could enlarge into a portrait of 'Emu Child'. The eyes were coloured in with yellow and did rub the pencil hatching around its beak. Emu child meets blackbird who takes him off into the air in flight as he takes off with a garland of his feathers tied to Blackbirds tail feathers, it's a dream and when Emu wakes up he is lying near the Water hens nest at the Marsh but he spends back to his parents terrain where he tries to convince them about his flight.
