I started drawing this self portrait today from gazing in the mirror, but turning the head from front to side caused some alignment problems with the gaze so worked later on today and dark line can alter with definite deeper setting the eye-lids...am feeling better with this now...yes it takes longer to draw from life drawing..just dabbling with line and like 3b and 4b pencil as they seem to work better for portraits.
