Rosemary and Mint in glass vase
This year I want to practice still-life drawing as always liked choosing a subject and it really is amazing what we see when gazing for at least half an hour at an object or forms by way of what presents. I picked some mint stalks and Rosemary so made a small sprig set in a glass vase. This study took about an hour to draw and the fragrance of rosemary and Mint wafted through the air so it was quite a profound experience. How often do we really notice these beautiful herbs? Takes us out into the now!
