For all the time I lived in Shropshire, the Carding Mill, near Church Stretton, was one of my favourite walks, with its breathtaking scenery and its lovely stream that burbles and chuckles it's way down the valley; this is one of the many mini-falls where underwater rocks have pulled down the levels of the water as they accelerate briefly, and then bounce back in a beautiful fluid arch to the waters downstream. I just love the energy and beauty, and have tried to capture both in acrylic paints. What do you think? Love and God bless Sally 🙂🕊❤🙏

I think you've captured it very well Andrew

Love the movement of the water.

Thank you dear Heather, for that affirming feedback; much love and God bless 😃❤️🕊🙏🌷

Thank you Stephen, for that lovely, focused feedback; love and God bless 😃🕊🙏🌷

Thank you dear Coral, for that feedback; yes, part of the attraction was it a stream detail we don't often see; love and God bless 😃❤️🕊🙏🌷

I should say, Stephen that; it's the movement in water that fascinates me; it always has but as an ex-hydrologist, I guess my understanding of the movement helps 😃🕊🙏

A stunning portrayal of water in full flow Andrew. Love the movement and light God Bless 🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞

Thank you dear Carole, for that really affirming and focused feedback; much love and God bless 😃❤️🕊🙏🌷xxx

Beautifully captured! It is so difficult to capture moving water but you have done an excellent job,

Thank you Spencer, it’s probably what I enjoy most! Love and Gif bless 🙂🙏🌷🕊

Absolutely superb painting of moving water. You have actually caught the power of the water with the colours and reflections, Andy. Absolutely love this. 🤗♥️🌹xxx

Thank you, dear Jacqui, for that lovely feedback, and I think my backgroud in hydrology, helps as I understand exact;y what the water is doing; I especially love this pic as it's a great example of a hydraulic jump, the only time water flows UPHILL! Much love and God bless my friend 😃❤️🕊🙏🌷xxxx

I’ve always loved water, its movement, its colour, its power. I had the privilege of working as a hydrologist for nine years before ordination, necessarily but enjoyably observing the movement of water in full flow or even in floods. That was thirty years ago but my love for moving water has not…
