Really pleased with this week's progress on this painting, which is FINALLY back on the easel!! :-) Actual size of complete full-figure portrait will be 35 x 25 cms, but this face detail is 8 cms square. Love that it looks like a watercolour! It's actually exactly the same heavy body acrylic paint that I use for my palette knife paintings, but applied thinly and built up in layers. It would definitely be my desert island choice of paint!
