Thank you Anne - oohh that smile actually proved to be rather challenging! I was also trying to capture the thumb-sucking habit he had at this age - and his face was in shadow in the reference photo! I think I finally (almost) got there in the end! Thanks for your compliment, that means a lot :- )

A little portrait of my son from my latest painting 'Family Bubbles' Watercolour on paper. I'm posting the whole painting - 'Family Bubbles' - in this same album. It illustrates the capsule family groups we formed earlier this year to keep our loved ones, the NHS and keyworkers safe.
