I agree with John - great brush stokes !

Thank you very much John, it was a bit tricky to keep it loose on a painting so small - but that was the original challenge so I tried to stick with it! :-)

Thank you Carole, those uplifting colours really appealed to me when I was looking through the photos on my phone, it’s a subject I’ve painted before but not in traditional oils. Glad you like it too! :- )

Hang on Studio Wall

Wildflowers on the roadside near my home. I’m moving between painting the garden and the kitchen cupboard contents to revisiting favourite phone snaps (that were taken at the time as reference shots for future paintings. It seems like that day is finally here for a few of them!) A very dinky 6 inches square (15 cms square in new money!) Oil on gessobord Happy painting! Andrea :- ) x
