Thanks everyone, thought I would present them like this instead of doing a work in progress on the forum. The inkbrush pens are very vibrant in colour but lovely for using like this in colourful birds.. the background is graphite pencil and blended with a stub, then I've used an electric eraser for the trees.

Wow Linda, these are excellent, the colouring, composition and tones work so well and just like the Pheasants on our allotment that take our blackcurrants!!!!
