I glanced at the Forum and spotted this super pen and wash. Will reiterate what I said. Super colours.

Thanks Richard , I did see you were having a few problems on the forum LOL !!!

A cracking pen & wash Linda. Lightness of hand has produced a charming painting. Love the sky in particular.

Thanks Fiona, sometimes it's good to just let go with the washes and hope for the best and not do what I usually do and stop fiddling!!!

This is old worldly and has a romantic look about it Linda. Love it.

I really like this Linda, perfect colour balance.

Attractive sketching style, Linda, love pen and wash. Lovely colours, especially the sky.

Thank you Carole, Heather and Jenny for your comment, as always much appreciated x

Lovely Linda, those in the know always seem to say use as big a brush as you can for as long as you can which probably means your in good company.

Thanks Barry, it does seem to work, will have to use them more often when i'm doing a watercolour!!

Just stunning...the expert at work! A lesson in simplicity for us all, Linda!

Lovely pen technique. Bright and fresh washes

Thank you Thalia and Diana, I didn't expect to receive such great comments from everyone as I didn't think it was all that good. Will have to do this wet in wet more often!!

Charming painting Linda. The sky is lovely.

Thank you Dawn, I really appreciate your comments.

A quick watercolour while sitting in the garden, it was drying so fast I had to really keep the paper wet. I went straight in with the paint with a size 12 brush. Finished with uni pen. A4 mixed media paper.
