Lovely scenery, beautiful composition, Linda. I always love your pen work.

That's terrific Lainda and sending them out right takes me with them. Nice work.

I've never used Inktense pencils - and I don't suppose I'd get your results if I did, but I will give them a try when I can actually get back into painting again. There was an artist named Vernon Ward - he painted many pictures of birds, landscapes and seascapes, and your approach is somewhat reminiscent of his: and that's high praise, because he was brilliant.

Very lovely, great geese Linda!

Mia, Jim and Margaret thank you for your kind comments 😀 Robert I am truly grateful for your lovely comments, I will look Vernon Ward up, Linda D 😀

Robert I've just looked Vernon Ward up, he has some great work, one that really stands out for me is his painting" Geisha " it's beautiful, he seems to cover such a variety of subjects too. Linda D 😀

I really like how you use your colours Linda, This is lovely as usual.

Great stuff, Linda. The geese really do seem to be moving and the depth is first class. Bri

Super colour palette Linda and an excellent subject.

Beautiful painting Linda, super geese, in fact it all looks gorgeous!

I like the colours and the subject, very nice.

Nice composition and style, love the geese, Linda.

Lovely painting and lovely scene, Linda.

Beautifully done Linda

Beautifully drawn Linda.

Super work, Linda. You're getting great results with those inktense pencils, I'm inspired enough to order some.

Lovely work Linda, I like using Inktense pencils, especially for sketching, they are much more transparent than the old watercolour pencils. Have you tried the blocks, they are great for larger areas?

Love the delicacy you have achieved with inktense. I thought they would be too intens but this is lovely Linda.

Beautiful, Linda.

When I've tried intense pencils they always turn out garish but this is so gentle and delicate Linda, it's beautiful.

Thank you all for your lovely and encouraging comments, not tried the blocks Stephen, but might give them a go sometime, and I do colour in very lightly with different shades on top of each other, then if I want to darken area's I go over the top till I get my desired effect, but it is hit and miss at first, Linda 😀

Excellent Linda. The geese taking fight is a Wow !!

Beautifully composed and painted, with accents in all the right places.

Fabulous Linda ,love the colours used.

Richard, Seok and Tony, thank you for your much appreciated comments, the image is from a Pixabay internet image, so I can't take credit for the original photoghraph.

Canada geese in flight, inktense pencils again with small amount of gouache for geese. Finished with pen an ink. A4 size on smooth hahnemiule watercolour paper, lovely for use with the inktense.
