A fabulous use of colour, like this a lot

Thank you, Heather, but the landscape is not exaggerated at all. The rocks are really that colour, maybe a bit redder in full sunlight but here in shadow.

Thank you, Andrew. Sometimes it's fun to find a scene for a lonnnnngggg canvas! I have in mind to do a non-long one of this area from on top of the cliffs when there's a moment.

Super!

Thank you, Jo. Sorry this is a late response....rather hectic with exhibitions.

A fascinating place due to its colourful geological stones in the cliffs. Great for fossil hunters. On a narrow path dropping to rocks on one side I slipped over the edge. My arm on the drop side was trapped under me so I couldn’t get up or prevent myself from falling if I started to slip further. I shouted to my husband quickly to stretch down and grab my belt and pull enough to allow my arm to come out from under me. Then I was able creep back up to the path. A close shave!
