Thank you so much, Fen, Maureen, Tessa, Maria and Heather. My intention was to transport us somewhere else. Yesterday was so incredibly dark, almost night here by 2.30pm and I had to give up painting so this sort of subject takes me away from thinking about winter's length....and everything else that is going on. I've just started working on a smaller but equally escapist subject. Watch this space!
