So sorry that I've been slow thanking you all for your comments. No emails arrived telling me there'd been any. This was done in acrylic to speed up drying as I'm running out of drying space for oils so I'm mixing up what I do. I have to say that the colour in the image is very poor compared to the painting. I couldn't get the colour right in the image - possibly to do with the time of day when I photographed it.

Continuing my series Isolation while we have this awful virus dominating life. I decided to put together a 'story' with a bit of humour. The shed is based to some extent on one on my village's allotments a couple of hundred yards from my studio and I then put in a figure of someone skiving from being locked in with the wife and/or small children, or just wanting somewhere quiet in which to read the newspaper.
