How could you be bored with your 80th birthday coming up? Party, cake, bunting and frolics..... like the Indian red and Payne's Grey mix - why is it I wonder that this works well in watercolour, but if you tried it in oil, and probably acrylic, you'd get a slithery sludge? Well, because they're formulated differently, that's why - but it does go to show it's not always possible to use the same mixes in one medium as you do in others.......

Your ramblings are far from boring Alan, and I do like how you try various colours out. Another gem from your gallery.

Just seen Robert's posting on the forum about your 80th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN and long may you thrill us all with your delightful paintings and amuse us too with your warm and feeling ramblings -certainly never boring.
