Lovely watercolour rendering of this river, lovely trees and super capturing of the water, you have got a super sense of depth going around the corner and straight on as well into the distance

A stunning piece, Alan, full of atmosphere. Super light and composition too.

Nice to look into and spend some time with. As an informative piece to me, I am Interested in the tonal variations.

Lovely painting - and full of painting lessons if you take a good long look: eg, Kirstie - just study some of of Alan's paintings for practical demonstrations of how to paint water and reflections, but have you found his YouTube films yet? You should - they're well worth a look and listen.

Love this peaceful picture, I would love to draw your dog for you, as a memory for you.

Karyl thank you so much ..for your offer . unfortunatley the pics I have are all distant away// and the ones I have are not what I would call good enough ..I appreciate your offer .take care . Kirstie keep them simple and dont put to many in ,,maybe you can drop me an e mail and we could send some viginetes ,,

Here is one link - gives me an excuse to watch it again :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnOQRw8YGFM

Lovely painting. The light is wonderful in this one.

You are a master with landscapes Alan. Where you have hinted at foliage on the trees is perfectly done, so few strokes of the brush but lots of information.
