Beautifully done , like you choice of pallet.

Great rendering of the sky, love it!

Super use of colour.

Lovely, really great light and sense of place

Thank you Paul, My idea was for a monochrome but I couldn’t resist adding a couple of colours

Thank you Thalia, I tried to complete it in one wash but I’m to slow these days, I didn’t intend to have any hard edges in the sky but decided to go along with it

Thank you Stephen, I think we all experiment with colour combinations that appeal to us, I like burnt sienna +purple, rightly or wrongly I resisted adding green

Thank you Heather, yes I purposely kept the horizon low to achieve just that but find when it comes to colour I go dark to early and run out tone

A beautiful painting!

Super sky Alan. Lovely use of warm colours in the foreground.

Thank you Anne, very much appreciated

Thank you Stephen, I find painting watercolour skies the most exciting part

Lovely watercolour, Alan

Thank you Maureen, much appreciated

Great atmospheric sky with the choice of colours and a nice light touch on the foliage.

Thanks very much Val, I find myself looking for a simple and easy to paint landscape just to paint a watercolour sky, the bit I enjoy most
