Great picture, and brings back memories of getting around the NY Moors on United buses back in the sixties.

Yes the bus adds colour, but the streetlight in the background, that's a stroke of atmospheric genius. I think most artists would have focussed solely on the bus.

Beautiful painting Alan. You've portrayed the cold atmosphere and dampness perfectly through clever use of colour and lights on the bus and streetlamp. Even the poor girl looks cold... I hope it was her bus!
