I like this very much Alan. The sepia colour adds to its charm for me but I'll be interested to see one with added colour.

Alan brilliant work again, lovely graphic marks ,composition and overall mood

Such an atmospheric effect with this type of print and the colour Alan, I think they are terrific. Would love to have a go at it myself.

Really brilliant Alan. After the last one you put on I had to visit You Tube for a demo.

Another beauty, Alan, very impressive technique.

Its got a lovely mood to it, Alan, I like the light and how the brightness twists towards the windmill.

Wow, Alan..it's fantastic!

Yes am loving these Alan

Well thanks everyone most appreciated as always, I will be doing a demo on the WIP page shortly if you are interested.

I love these two etchings. The sepia is uch a great colour. Diana

Did you remove less ink on the darker parts of this, then scratch out to reveal the white grasses?

Another drypoint etching, they are such a pleasure to produce, and unlike monoptypes, these can be editioned and numbered, generally small runs of around 25 are common, before the plate starts to lose its detail. They can of course be coloured in with watercolour, I will show one later on with colour added, it can be very effective, all wiill be slightly different of course and are marked up with EV which stands for 'Varied Edition', no, not VE as one would think.
