No way Alan it's quite brilliant as is everything you touch it just shows how good you are an average artist would be over the moon with this

Certainly not runof the mill. I love this Autumn scene, also<br />I keep the smooth reflections, the white water left sparks the painting Alan.

Run of the mill it&#39;s not, but I can tell you want to explore ....

I wish I could do run of the mill like this Alan. Fantastic colours and I really like how you have created the uneven tufts of grass in the foreground. Gorgeous!

I don&#39;t see why you should call this run of the mill! The colours are super.

I am not usually a fan of &#39;autumnal&#39; painting (don&#39;t like oranges as a colour I&#39;m afraid) but this one has me persuaded to change my mind as it has such a lovely glow and the balancing of the autumn tones with that lovely blue makes it work for me.

Yes Alan and I would definitely be over the moon if I could paint like You do.. All Your painting are more than beautiful.. Amazing :)

Definitely not run of the mill -not at all Alan - with those confident brushstrokes and vibrant colours-never!

Many thanks to you all, appreciated, I think Gudrun understands why this type of painting will not be reappearing, I have to be more dynamic and expressive these days with my style and colours. I hope that I am getting some way to achieving that aim.

Nothing wrong with this one, I&#39;d be more than happy if I&#39;d produced it, but I must admit I&#39;m very attracted to your more experimental pieces.

This has its own energy and subtle atmosphere and stands as a different but excellent genre in its own right. It&#39;s certainly not boring, Alan!

This is a wonderful painting ! I like your dry brush stroke technique very much.

Love the warm colours and the reflections in the water.

Watercolour on Arches 300lb NOT. 11 x 15'', part of the Wye Valley series which I painted at the beginning of the year. All boring run of the mill churned out stuff, which I avoid nowadays.
