I can't believe you were told you were useless at painting & drawing, what a shocking thing to say to a child!! Clearly this was rubbish advice!! You're very talented & creative. Love the way you've captured the delicacy of the petals here.

Thank you for the encouraging comments. Sad to say Jane, unfortunately teachers were sometimes not so encouraging in the 60's and I am sure I was not the only one treated in this way. Nowadays I think they try to find something you are good at and encourage you in this way.
