I think this works very well Adele, as Dennis has commented the foliage is very we'll painted.

Very nice depiction, Adele, of a wooded area. I especially like the bright sunlit area beyond the shadow as a way of pulling the viewer into the painting.

Oh I love this, Adele! Why don't you like it? I love the light on the bank in the background, the no-fuss treatment of the road - honestly it's about my favourite painting of yours.

This painting really pulls you in Adele. The foreground may be a little weak, but that can be improved upon as you've worked in oils.
