Thanks for your comments; yes, you certainly don't have to look far to find interesting characters to draw. They are often appreciative that someone, like an artist has taken the time to notice them and record their role in the community. Russell, I take it that you shop at Bingham's Handicentre too?

Throughout the lockdown in my part of the world, south-Nottinghamshire, several small firms have gone beyond the call of duty by adapting to the global economic crisis in order to survive and reach-out to their clients even though their shops are closed. My local DIY store is one of them. I painted this picture a few years ago of Ronnie, the manager whose hair colour/facial decorations change each week and delivered some compost to our doorstep last week in their van.
