Our lesson this week was "going for it"...as in no preparation sketch just dive right in with a large brush and get painting! We were trying to get more abstract, but I must admit I do struggle with being less figurative and more abstract..but I WILL get there! We were asked to look at mark making and using different techniques and tools to achieve the end result. I used a palette knife, a bamboo stick and a very large hog hair paintbrush. It was fun!
