Thank you both for that. The robin’s pincushion sounds good to me!
Robert - I started using Cobra etc about 4-5 years ago when I attended a weekly class where the tutor used them because he had health concerns re solvents etc. The whole class were required to use them and so I did. They do have advantages for travel, brush cleaning etc and I got used to them although I did find them ‘sticky’ to use at first. There are so many medium options to use with either version that maybe I just didn’t settle on the right one for me. I will still use them I’m sure, but currently I’m enjoying getting back into the traditional oils.

It was good to read your response, Dixie, informative. I've seen this many times, taken pictures but never taken the time to search the reason of this phenomena. I will be using it for one of my short form poems, at some point.
Nature certainly does have a wonderful way of pleasing the eye, we just have to take the time to look what's on the periphery of our vision and beneath our feet.
