Well, that was fun - sitting here, idly going through the posts, when all of a sudden a touch of another and weirder world intruded, in a shower of (expletive deleted) from a Mamafata, or something similar, inviting us all to take advantage of her capacity to weave spells - I happened to be the one online at the time, and so gently assisted Mama and her spells from the site, never, I hope, to return.  Which gives me the opportunity to say that our small team of twaddle-squashers are doing a grand job of keeping the site clean: many posts removed before anyone even reported them - and a big relief to me: just now was like a brief return to the good old days, but I should like to pay tribute to Alan and Paul for ensuring those WERE the old days, and we're at last crushing this stuff at source before it gets in the way of everyone's enjoyment.

It is, I think, a testament to the diligence of yourself and others that when, like yesterday, one sees a whole stream of Mamafata type posts offering us magic spells for all that ails us (bar annoying postings), one is confident that they will disappear, as if by that very magic, without the need to report them.

Yes, I also deleted something like 15 posts yesterday, each one with around a thousand words at least - so between the three of us, they shouldn’t be hanging around for too long, cluttering up the forum! But, they keep coming, same subject trash so they must be re registering each time…
