I echo what Lewis said. I also subscribe to the magazines and enjoy looking through my back issues on line at pocketmags. There  is not a better website for artist that Painter Online. There is something for everyone. Just my view.🎨🖼️
Without raising its ugly head of closure again which i am not. Having been assured earlier in this feed that , that is not happening, I was saddened to read that parts of the studio platform is being closed. The blogs by fellow members I found very interesting  and in some cases extremely informative. Will be a big chunk of my enjoyment removed, which I feel is a shame.
It’s alway sad when thing we have become used to change, unfortunately sometimes it’s for reasons to to with technical management etc, I’m sure a lot of thought went into removing . On another note and I think a positive one , I like the banners that appear when you look at a painting on the gallery, I was a bit irritated at first , but it’s opened several interesting items to read , a couple by Alan that I had previously missed. I know not everyone will feel the same but it’s a move that is helpful and I welcome it , thanks team.
I seem to have missed that notification, Julia.  Which part of Studio is no longer available?
It was on Studio news. From 31st July the company is closing the blogs and videos section. Annoying really as I enjoyed them
I have it on good authority that the removal of the Blog and Videos features should not in any way be interpreted as anything more than that! Basically, some areas of the website are being streamlined… nothing more, nothing less! It’s something that I personally, have rarely looked at since I joined ten years ago, give or take, but I can understand that some members such as Julie, did use these features and will be disappointed that they have been removed. There is still an awful lot of other good stuff on the website to enjoy, we must think positive and give Warners our support in whatever decisions they make. I am in contact with senior management at Warners, and I can assure you that they are as interested as we all are, in making this website a continued success!

It was on Studio news. From 31st July the company is closing the blogs and videos section. Annoying really as I enjoyed them.it was also in part why I joined Studio+ to have access to everything,  but I guess it is what it is, and as Paul says the company will have their reasons. I just seem rather unlucky that when I do subscribe to things. ..they change things two months in . Paul, at this point in time I find the banners very intrusive,  but will no doubt get used to them.
Thanks all, I don't get Studio News.  So they ought to put this in an email.  I have found a message under "Community" which I rarely enter, so would have missed the message.  Is it the members videos (of which I have none) or is it the main video section of Studio? Which I do view.

Norrette, I believe it's the members videos.  Alan, I understand your need to make it clear that by removing these two areas is all it is, and not anything else or hidden agenda etc etc. Which is why I did state that I was not raising any rumours of closure.....of which there's not, thanks to reassurance in other posts on this feed. Being there was no mention of these two items closing on the forum or in notification emails, and being rather disappointed, I decided to mention the fact. I have not implied any thing else other than I'm sad about it.
This is a cut and paste from Community Videos, hopefully this clarifies matters! Community Videos We wanted to let you know that the community video area will be closing soon. If you have any content you would like to save, please ensure you do so by 31st July 2025. But don’t worry — you can still share your latest artworks, get feedback, and connect with fellow artists in our vibrant gallery and forum. We look forward to seeing your creations and conversations there!
I understand completely Julie, and you were simply just stating facts, and that was a good thing to highlight this information to fellow members who weren’t aware of forthcoming developments.
Thank you Alan.
