Yes, I think it’s from this one - difficult searching through his paintings because they are so big and it’s difficult to make out the detail.  (I couldn’t upload the whole painting as the file was too big!)

Bravo Jenny! I would never have thought Canaletto painted water like that. I’ve seen one or two Canaletto’s in close- up but never noticed that style. Frank, you’re devious! That bit was tiny!

Well done Jenny 👏 Yes, it’s from Caneletto’s “Veiw of the Ducal Palace”. The water was a dead giveaway if you are familiar with Canelletto’s work, otherwise, the small section would make it difficult to guess.

I remember watching a program about American artists last year sometime and I’m sure I saw this Marjorie. I can’t for the life of me think of his name but he’s American, and it’s a girls name. I don’t want to look it up! Lol

At last...one I know (I think).  Marjorie's is 'Christina's World' by Andrew Wyeth.  One of my favourite artists.
