Well I failed with Tessa’s 😳. I didn’t know Hockney was on recently , I wouldn’t have done it! Think I’ve seen the prog. You are all too good! Must make it harder next time!
Here's one for you all, you might guess this from the waves. This artist was very prolific and often worked very large.
Here's mine!
Misa, I’m going to get in before Jenny! Is it Stonehenge by John Constable?  As for Frank’s….no idea….yet. Looks like a French sailor….

Yes!
Frank's wouldn't be Winslow Homer, would it?  (Bet it isn't....)
To Homer Robert, a big clue is the water, this artist always paints water in this fashion.
Frank, I’m at my wit’s end! Are you going to put it on the Gallery and see if anyone knows it? Robert, Winslow Homer lived for a time at the coast in Northumberland ( Cullercoats). Don’t think there’s even a little plaque on the cottage - there should be!

Frank, I’m also itching to know who it is - can you give us another clue or, as Marjorie suggests, put it on the gallery.
I haven’t got a clue either. From the wave clue, the only artist I came close to on that, was Van Gogh. Some of his seascapes had a similar wave style. Another clue please Frank!
Kept thinking I should know this - looks like a Venetian scene - perhaps by Canaletto?  He painted big canvasses and I have found a couple of his paintings where he’s done the water like this.  Taken some searching but I think it might be Ducal Palace Venice?

Doesn’t look like Canaletto’s water….but he certainly painted “ big”. I’m thinking 19c Cornish or French but I’m stumped at the moment. This is my latest( can’t stop!) but I think it’s too easy again. The camera has taken out a bit of colour.
