Let’s have a party….I only looked It up…….
I’m a bit late David, but that looks like Degas, Harlequin and Columbine
Here’s another which you’ll guess pretty quick I’m sure but it was fun to do.
I feel so ignorant. Is it a Van Gogh?
I may have shown too much of this. This is the actual size of the bit I abstracted. How can I make it smaller? It’s from my ipad.

Marjorie, I think I do know this one - was watching a programme on David Hockney’s portraits the other day.  ‘Mr & Mrs Clark and Percy’  (Had to check the title, though.)

Jenny you are very good at this. I think there are only two paintings that I know of Hockneys, the splash and the ones of the old tree on the lane where he comes from.  I also would guess at Van Gogh for Tessa’s painting, he did quite a lot of paintings of crops being harvested.
Tessa, is yours a Bruegel?  We used to have one or two of his paintings.  I searched corn harvest and think it’s from his painting The Harvesters?

From the program I watch the other day about Hockney, I really liked this period of his work Marjorie, in the 70's.
Some lovely pics …mr & Mrs Clarke and Percy one of my favourite pics.
Jenny you’re correct again , Brueghel the elder The Harvesters. You are too quick! It takes a lot longer to paint them than for you to work it out!
Sorry, Tessa, it’s annoying isn’t it - mine have all been guessed straight away - find it hard to resist these challenges, though, we always do one or two famous artists quizzes at our art club Christmas party each year.
