Lovely nocturnes everyone! It hardly seems possible that December begins this week but let's keep up the tradition of making the December 'challenge' to share festive good cheer with some seasonal paintings and Christmas greetings.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Acrylic on prepared MDF board. Best wishes to all.

Not a new one, but thought I’d use it for my Christmas card this year.

An oldie but I will do a new one, I love painting snow scenes… Long Winter Shadows, Watercolour and gouache.

I have a thing about not painting a snow scene until we actually get snow - which is a BIT mad, now I think about it, and explains why I haven't got many snow paintings, because snow is rare down here - rain isn't!  But I'm not fond of painting rain.   Anyway, fine painting Mr Bickley!  I must crack on with my Christmas offering, but I can predict with confidence that it won't be THAT good.
Very nice indeed Alan!
Here are three that I have painted recently all acrylic 2 on stretched canvas and one onartboard
Another watercolour snow scene painted last winter, 11 x15in on Fabriano. I’ll paint a new one tomorrow!
Some excellent paintings posted already a couple that I have done recently , I have two on the go at the moment so I will post them here as well.

Wow, you're all excelling yourselves - wonderful paintings from each of you - I am currently engaged in pulling my socks up, and planning mine - imagination is a bit sclerotic at the moment; if I cheated and showed an old one, I just know someone would notice....
What smashing pics...I always seem to miss these challenges.   Lovely work everyone.   Thee I did in situ in Morocco a time ago into sketch books.
