Happy Robin,  Pog person.
Some frost covered webs - watercolour and acrylic ink. I'll pop this one in the gallery too as I want to 'file' it in the right place.
How lovely Andrew.
You have an observant eye, Andrew. I agree, lovely work.
Not actually a painting but going to be painted with metallic watercolour. I found this rat's head when part of a drystone wall fell down between a field and the garden. 'Come here my lovely' I thought. It has had two coats of Daniel Smith pearlescent watercolour ground. The size of the eye sockets I find quite amazing.

Carol  ,skulls are found in the most peculiar places . I found this whilst on a dog walk .  I stole it. I have since drawn it in graphite.  I think someone was out to scare walkers.enjoy yours.

Woo! I see what you mean, I would think that could be a scary to some people. I have two sheep skulls I cleaned up and have covered with the same ground, ready, but I have to say, not as impressive as yours. Half a chance I too would have taken it :)
And it wasn't Halloween....brilliant to draw.
ISkulls offer great still life drawing opportunities! I’ve seen this one from Sylvia before which was a great find. The rat skull is interesting also, but it doesn’t look like a rat! We had a whole cupboard full of animal and bird skulls at college… I’ve got dozens of sketches of them in my numerous old portfolios.

Thank you Gillian ;) Robins are very brave little heroes too! It's been a long time ago I went through an article, were (I bet it's true what I remember) I've read that this little bird has no fear to defend off much bigger birds away from his territory... I'm always amazed by animals... I've been watching some CCTV camera record, where house cat was dealing with the bear, that came around the house... In comparison we humans if we face bigger man on our way, usually we won't dare to challenge, would we? Hahahaaaa ;) All the best  ;)

Nice work Hilary and Paul  ;) Lovely scenery ;) Thank you Sylvia for kindness  ;) Andrew your spider webs are great! I'm always amazed, and it's real joy to me looming at them after the rain... The water droplets shining on them like jewelery... Nice painting!
