I agree Denise,I didn’t sketch at all but since Ive joined the forum I use it more and more.  Many pages of things that don’t get painted though. I painted some tropical leaves on canvas for my daughter for Christmas that started as a sketch, my son in law wants some fish, specifically koi, so this is a small try out sketch for hopefully a larger canvas in acrylic.
So many excellent sketches  well done everybody. A line drawing that I have already started to paint, I started with the cab but as can be seen I did not leave myself enough room for the long bonnet, hence the light half in the picture.
It’s been snowing here this afternoon so haven’t been out walking and our dog didn’t look like she could be bothered either!
Been an ok day, here in March. Got a few jobs done around the house, and in the garden.  Here is day 9 of Christmas.
So many lovely sketches already.   You've caught your dog beautifully Tessa - can't blame her not wanting to go outside!  We had more snow this morning on top of ice and I've read of a couple of fairly serious falls.   I didn't go far!   This one is of sunset from the window.  A quick and messy watercolour sketch.
Pleasant but cold day here in Orkney, long walk up on the hills with my dog. Here’s a quick sketch of a sleepy Honey
Nice to see the great variety of subject matter.  Didn't get much done yesterday.  Thinking of doing a fantasy picture, I did this sketch to try to get in the mood.
Lovely dog sketches from Tessa and Gillian, the lazy and the worn out! Love the Koi, Hilary, will make a great painting I’m sure. Margaret, the sunset skyline is lovely, really effective. Enjoying the twelve days of Xmas Alan, although I have to admit to taking the decorations down today, three days early. Paul, I am always starting in the wrong place and running out of room, sometimes it makes for a more interesting composition. Mine was an evening sketch of Harley peering out over the stable door, didn’t realise in the lamplight that I had picked up a blue pen.
Gosh Lewis, so much more than a sketch, wonderful!
Good start to Sunday lewis, Katy, im still on the 12 days of Christmas, not many left now, (few I hear you cry)
Some great sketches today.  Love the sleepy dogs Tessa & Gillian.  Katy your Harley has a smile I think , gorgeous. Alan love the leaping lord.  Ive been doing a basic drawing course online and the inevitable sketch of the hand has come up so this is my offering for today, served to remind me to do my nails.
Sorry Lewis, forgot to mention your sketch,I wonder if they’re running away from dragons?
