Interesting, Dixie. I'm going to ask a friend of mine if they go mudlarking there or nearby. Very nice industrial painting.
I know it’s now September but I’m still adding to the thread . Pen and colour pencil sketch of an AEC Matador Timber Tractor, many of  these truck were built in WW11 as gun tractors and heavy haulers , after the war the market was flooded with surplus vehicles and were bought by timber companies m showmen and haulers all over the work .  I had the privilege of driving one in the late 1990s in the woodlands near where I live a beast of a machine to drive . Think I should have use a watercolour wash , not so keen on the pencil colours .
The deep green body colour is gorgeous, Dixie. Here's the Hawthorn sketch painted using Rosa Gallery w/c.
Excellent drawing and the colours of the berries are really good Carol. Just found my old fountain pen and have it a clean , this is a three minute doodle with the pen , the ink is still not coming through dark after the cleaning must be picking up some water .

I like this a lot Paul. Somehow the different shades of ink where your cleaning water has mixed, adds depth to the drawing. Very nice.
Just a quick sketch, from my morning dog walk, in the park across from my house.
Lovely to see you on the thread Skylar !  Nice Heron!  I  have been away a few days hence why I haven’t been putting any sketches. I will post some in the next couple of days! Well done everyone for sharing your sketches !!
Good work, Skylar.
Sketch plus colour
Ink pen sketch , will add  colour and two sketch’s for paintings.  The one with the pigs was inspired by discovering that the official date for the annual pannage in the New Forest ( turning pigs out to eat the fall acorns ) is the 11 September this year.
A quick sketch on dark blue paper, black pen with a little bit of pastel, will develop this a bit more. Can’t get a decent photo, the light is reflected off the paper .
