Some Beautiful Images of nature's "Fibonacci" effects! The patterns in Nature are endlessly captivating. The first drawings I remember (age 6) drawing were the patterns in sea shell.
You're not ready for that visit to the loony doctor yet, Paul -  you have clearly failed, though, to pass your creative instincts on to your son (who I'm sure is creative in his own way).   A cabbage is indeed a marvel of construction - most plants are, which is why so many people paint them, and in such a variety of ways.  Eg, I enjoyed Skylar's  Texas Rose painting on the Gallery  - a very different subject perhaps, but the humble and nutritious cabbage is as beautiful in its own way - and as Marjorie suggests, a bit of a devil to paint: though she's made a fine job of it in that oil painting.
