Great sketch of your pieris Margaret, you were brave to battle the elements. Thanks for setting this up, and the new daily(ish) thread, I for one will be dipping in.  I might do a few more as it’s time for the 6 Nations rugby, if I can think of something for the other Nations.
Margaret you are so brave to sketch outside in this weather, but your Pieris flower has certainly proved worthwhile. love your exit to Brexit Tessa, thought there might be some of these posted today, mines another animal sketch for a painting. Hope to get it finished later. Will definitely join in with the February one although it might not be as often.
So many fantastic sketches in this thread took me ages to read and catch up, sorry not been able to do everyday life has a habit of getting in the way. Been to sketch club today so here's mine for last day we had to draw/sketch a plate of fish and chips and mushy peas.

Lovely plate of fish and chips Christopher, I could just eat them. Here is my finished painting of Mr Fox!!
Great work today , grave stones, foxes , fish and chips, George and the dragon, flowers. , all done so well. Adding this for now, have a painting to addd later but need to set up in the spare room first, this in case I don’t make it in time.
Could I say Fantastic Mr Fox Linda, great sketch but even better painted. Think I will have fish and chips for tea now Chris, and what I thunk might be an impala by Paul.
Gorgeous Mr Fox Linda, and a handsome impala! Fish and chips are looking good Alan and making me feel peckish! Looking forward to your Six Nations ideas Alan. 👍🏻
What a variety of great sketches:  Brexit; a lovely fox; an antelope; and Christopher, that plate of fish and chips is making me hungry!
Well, here we are on the last day of the January sketch month....we all deserve a pat on the back, not only for the excellent work that has been completed but also for sticking with it. The latter more of a celebration for myself than the former. Margaret, I would like to thank you again for the idea and the encouragement along the way.  Here’s my last effort....I like treen and this is one of a few pieces I have, there are two other wee mice that go with it but I didn’t have the time to include them. Well done everyone!
My last painting for this month was completed yesterday, but never had time to post
That's great Fiona, a lovely wee moose!! well done everyone, Alan I missed your antelope, sorry. I definitely think this has helped with our sketches so thanks to Margaret for starting this thread off and inviting us to join her.
My last one, done in a rush to finish it. It been a great month sketching and the banter has been excellent best wishes to all.
