That’s a lovely detailed sketch Anjana and again very different and interesting subject matter, also tiny indeed! Thursday morning is Art Group for me so I’ll probably do mine there. Only two to go! It’s been great fun and has made me constantly on the lookout for something to sketch, and maybe something different to what I would usually do. I think we’ve all inspired each other with our very different styles and subjects and that’s been really good and helpful. I for one would be happy to continue through February if anyone else is interested? Certainly I’ll try to do it myself even if I don’t post them. Margaret we owe you for starting this. 👍🏻😊🥰 I assume the medals for completing the month will be in the post next week!?

Great sketching Anjana. Not an easy subject but great spontaneous drawing.
Sorry to hear about your mum Lesley, hope you back with us soon. Great work from everyone again, no time today for sketching so here's one from the sketch book which ended up as a painting which was posted on the gallery a year or so back.

Am envious of the intricacy of the "webbing" (is that the right word ?
Day 29!  A quick pheasant from a photo of my own.  Caran D'Ache Museum Aquarelle pencils, some watercolour paint, and fountain pen on CP paper.  Was drawing all morning at art class but, as it was a nude, won't post it online.    Beautiful garden, Marjorie - love the line and that delicate wash; Tessa, amazing what we can spot when we are looking to do a sketch!  very nicely observed and drawn; Alan, you have really captured the Jack Russell character; Linda - very imaginative and beautifully drawn/painted. Two more days!

What a great array of "work" we have seen this month, from a lot of talented people.
Love that sheep Richard - one more day though!   Very nice robin sketch, Linda.
Scary sheep Richard and a lovely lapwing and some robins Linda. Our local garden centre also seems to have resident robin who sings for his supper indoors! Yes Marjorie it’s daffs today. They don’t last long do they, and these bought last ? Friday, are already on their way out but still just about ok for another day or so.
Lovely daffs, Tessa.  I now need to go and seek some inspiration!

I missed your lovely pheasant Margaret, and very nice Daffy's Tessa, think I missed a comment on Paul's feathers, very nice and Anjana I missed your lovely post, I'm sure there were others so very sorry if I haven't mentioned you, well done everyone 👍😀
Richard, that sheep isn't how you're feeling is it? What a little inspiration that robin was, Linda - as if to say," here I am, draw me!" Daffs, Tessa, like you, but they didn't inspire me today! Not enough tone in the sketch and a lacklustre watercolour doodle which I tried to rescue with a pen!😖Tomorrow is our last one.....let's hope we go out with a bang!
I think you are being too hard on yourself Marjorie, I like both the sketch and watercolour of the daffs a lot. I struggled for inspiration today too - did a really bad sketch of a squirrel which I'm not going to post!  Here is a very quick Caran D'Ache Museum Aquarelle sketch of a treeline at RSPB Mersehead from one of my January photos. One more day!  (then possibly a February thread?)

We'll have to have a fanfare tomorrow! Strange that we both lacked a bit of inspiration today....
Will be back to comment on all the loveliness posted. Waiting at leisure centre thought will draw a chair, how hard can it be? Well technical drawing not my forte, as you can see ran out of paper 😁

Actually, a chair is very difficult I think. You need to be able to relate every bit to the other bits ( if you know what I mean - I'm sure you do ). You've made a very good job of this Anjana.
