Some more lovely and wide variety of sketches. The water soluble pen worked well Dixie; cute robin Tessa - I did my Big Garden Birdwatch as well today (though I might try again tomorrow as, having been away the feeders had probably been more or less empty for a couple of days so less birds around than usual); really like that monoprint Fiona - that appeals to me a lot; lovely delicate sketch Alan - glad you have been finding this fun; beautiful portrait Linda; beautifully drawn palm tree Marjorie. Hope I've not missed any!
Day 25! A largish quick sketch based on a very small sketch done at RSPB Mersehead last week. Just trying to get over an idea of the colours - Caran D'Ache Neocolour II watersoluble wax crayonns and watercolour marker pen on watercolour paper.

Margaret I do like your style, Mersehead sounds like a fabulous reserve and barnacle goose - pretty smart in your clever sketch too. Alan, gorgeous tulips with colour, they look so natural and very different subject with the wind chime. Mighty fine doodle Tessa like the colour palette you used and cute robin - that's is so typical that they evade you when you look out for them! Thanks all for the generous comments my uncle did like his bday present. Lewis great boat, hope you had great time with 15 guests! Fiona monoprint is so good, Linda another beauty, Marjorie just incredible with the intertwining leaves and patterns on the trunk! Think have caught up with everyone's fantastic contributions, thank you Margaret for roping us in, really enjoyed participating. Wonder what I will sketch today..

I’m not going to mention every one individually is it’s difficult flicking between pages . I don’t want to miss any of the excellent work that has been done. I wanted to do a sketch of a drunken guests sleeping in the corner, but his wife begged me not too.
So rushed this of early this morning before those few staying over get up and want feeding. Its from an old photo of a very old thatched barn that was in a state of collapse, the photo was taken about 30 yrs ago, one of those I might use sometime shots.

Nice Barn Paul, looks like a great place to explore. Anjana your figures are great, nice and spontaneous. Here is my sketch for today, I was reading a book on Painting basic Waterfowl and wading birds by Rod Lawrence, and after commenting on Pauls post in the forum, I was inspired to copy a painting from it. Hope this is not cheating.

lovely work. Day 25 back to figure drawing, proportions a bit hiffy!
