Thanks for the info Linda. I think I'll buy one of those electric rubbers. My sketch today is an old lace iron which belonged to my great grandma.
Thanks all, and some enthusiastic sketching going on! Marjorie, no it doesn’t smudge, I’ve got a piece going into the next LP (letters page), which is out on Friday. I’ve given some details about using Nitram products plus an illustration, that should give you the basics.  - you may well like using it, painting with charcoal is certainly different!
Fiona, you just beat me to it! Nice one! There are some interesting bits and pieces appearing.
A gorgeous subject for your sketch Marjorie with that all important emotional tie.
Another interesting subject Fiona and a lovely composition Marjorie.
Went to my local National Trust garden Trelisick today and the camelias were out in bloom so was inspired to do this little sketch, mixed media pencil, pen and pastels.
Lovely colours Christopher - I can't believe the camellias are out already, it'll probably be another two months before any sign here! ( Northumberland )

It's bit milder down here in Cornwall we even have daffodils and primrose in the hedgerows.
Lovely to see this camellia - even the snowdrops aren't out in our garden in Edinburgh yet.
Great contributions everyone, a fabulous range of subjects - scenic, unusual to everyday objects, interesting product information, think I feel an order coming up! Tulips for my day 18 :-)
Lovely composition and sketch Christopher that is early for camellias even for us in the East Midlands
By the skin of your teeth Anjana - well done!
