Thanks Marjorie, a good idea - I handed it in and they seemed to like it.   Really nice sketches Fiona and Sylvia.    Fiona and Marjorie - I think it is definitely easier to keep going when there are a few other folk encouraging you :)

How fine is the nib on that pen Sylvia? Is it a dip pen? I can't seem to find any really fine ones, the best I've got is 0.1 . Both excellent sketches, you've got some character there.

Ballet was the marvellous thank you Margaret, love your cat, how lovely for your neighbours. Gorgeous pen and wash of teasel Tessa it has that fast and loose feel, great bird sketch Richard, Fiona another unusual subject, Sylvia beautiful sketches, the scribbly lines are so effective and fantastic red hot chillies Christopher. My offering sketched from a photo I took this evening at our local reserve, yesterday’s rain has made the river spill over onto the path in places.

Everyone is working hard, good to se so many people still plodding on. Today’s inspired by my favourite time of the year for colours autumn. I’m not sleeping well at the moment so getting very early starts.

Rather artly arranged chillies Christopher! No rain here Anjana, sunny but windy but dull today. Am off to the art club so will do my sketch there. Like the mauve in your leaf Paul.

Some really good stuff going into these sketches/paintings, love those bright chillies, and Paul such lovely shades in your autumn leaves. Love that quick sketch Anjana I can see it has the makings of a lovely painting. Not had time over the weekend for sketching so will post something later from my sketchbook.

Red hot chillies look super Christopher. Anjanna that’s a lovely sketch, love your energetic pen marks. Love your kaleidoscope leaf Paul, looks as though it has just fluttered to earth. Hope to do and post something later......very windy and wet here.
