Don't know why it has a blue tinge as the paper is white. Here is todays sketch, in the corner of my room, inspired by Marjorie is my washing as its been so wet in March
Alan you certainly make laundry look exciting and winnie the pooh candlestick with tigger wrapped round is very cool. Wonderful watercolour Paul, the size of the berries receding give a sense of depth, great effort with the digital sketch, I must give that a go. Marjorie charming pen and watercolour wash, shells I find a difficult subject to get the shapes right, pine cones being another tricky one Tessa, love your sketch. Christoper lovely acorn and leaves and Margaret so are your pine cone and teasel in fountain pen. Fiona fabulous work again, and love your choice of subjects. Sorry if I missed anyone, certainly enjoying browsing through all the offerings. Thank you for your comments on my sketches, pleased to have squeezed in a sketch just before show started at the theatre, although got very cautiously curious side glances from my neighbour, but then we bonded over our shared love of double choc ice-cream so all was well!
Some fantastic sketches again from all, and wonderful ideas. Some of them give a snapshot of our lives and interests! This is my version of Margaret’s teasel in pencil, pen and watercolour.

From a pencil tutorial book from the library. It's what you do on a wet and windy dark day !!!
Nice marks, Richard. It's bright and sunny here - North Northumberland.
What a lovely selection of subjects and styles!   I'm very fond of pen and wash, so love seeing so much here.  Christopher, I do like these lovely detailed acorns; well done Anjana for drawing while waiting for Nutcracker! (hope you enjoyed the ballet); Marjorie, that is a lovely pen and wash - is that an aspidistra?; lovely berries, Paul; and Alan, like your style and quirky subject matter; Richard - nicely drawn bird; and Tessa, I thought you would do a lovely sketch of the teasel if you did it - and you have  - I really like it :)   Apologies if I have missed anybody.   I'm fair enjoying all the contributions! Wasn't sure what to do today then our neighbour's cat came in for snooze in our settee (he often spends time there when his owners are out, especially if the weather is a bit wild!) - and he posed beautifully (though not for long).  Fountain pen and water wash.
Lovely colours on the teasel Tessa. That is beautiful, Margaret. Will you give it to them?

I taught I taw a puddytat, a thleeping on my chair.....
It’s been an outstanding response to this challenge from everyone, such diverse subjects. Margaret, thank you for tempting me, I didn’t think I would last this long to be honest but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done to everyone! Here’s today’s contribution, deer antler sketch in pen with a bit of a water wash.
I've never lasted this long, either. Really enjoying it, despite, on occasion, having to run to catch up. Something new again, Fiona.
Some fab work has been happening here.  My resolution to do one a day has bit the dust.  I have a couple of hours ....right now and I’m struggling with a pair of Whippets so they are a priority. Soooo cheating me I have posted a couple of sketches sneakily done in yet another hospital waiting room...actually we could probably do a whole thread on waiting rooms .
