Some lovely work here girls. Linda, I don’t do Facebook either but was able to watch the live portrait painting connected to the Mall Galleries exhibition yesterday without joining. The BBC 4 live life drawing is coming up again I think next Tuesday? Check the date, I may be wrong but I know it’s soon.
Lover work ladies. Had a busy day today. Street party this after with social distensing. Was good to chat to neighbours. Suddenly remember I had not posted a sketch. This is a quick one done yesterday, trying to use as few lines as possible. Pen and watercolour.
Devotion to duty Dixie remembering this after your busy day! I think your tractor is lovely and it has two eyes and a face. 😀
I like your tractor Paul, the different angle of looking at it straight on makes a complete change and stands out more. Good drawing!!
Took this picture on my morning walk yesterday if you are interested in sketching it Paul.
Thanks Linda, I will have a go at this.

Lovely sketch Margaret and the beach looks serene and love your marker wash Linda and of course the version of tractor Paul.. they are all good.. I did my abstract sketch after following a demo on Instagram by an artist Sally Clark. I liked the approach and I tried it out with my winsor&newton markers.
Very nice abstract painting Nandhini.  I’m being a bit lazy today instead of doing a sketch I’m using the rough drawing I’ve made for a painting  I started this afternoon. And with base coat in some areas.
That’s rather nice Nandhini, looks. Like stained glass which I love.  Linda, not sure what your machine is, in doubt Dixie will know? Certainly a challenge! Well this is a sign of a lazy day in the garden mostly enjoying the sunshine before the temperature drops over the next few days. Again the hubby said something about the subject matter! 😂 Edit....Just saw your lovely boat scene Dixie, for some reason I didn’t or couldn’t see them when I wrote the above. Maybe typing same time.

Like your tractor, Dixie and the boats are coming on well; lovely colourful abstract, Nandhini - has worked really well; wasn't warm enough for bare feet here (in my opinion anyway!) though it was very nice - nice sketch, Tessa.   Very quick sketch of a postman (though this has turned out about gender neutral) - he was far away and moving fast so only got the colour on before he disappeared - added line from imagination and memory much later.

Love the looseness of this Margaret and the use of bold colour on shirt and bag. Mine today is a sketch of a painting I did a while ago do staddle stones. I’ve been trying to read a book on drawing by Ruskin (a bit heavy going) and so trying to concentrate on tones rather than lines.
