Thank you Linda and just trying to wind down at the end of day with this sketch.. Paul your truck is pretty neat and impressive..
Thank you Margaret, I used Procreate for iPad..
Thanks :)  Another lovely solid truck Dixie - I suspect a lot of us are having problems concentrating at the moment.  I've only done one acrylic in the last few months - just doing quick stuff.  Nice lively sketch, Tessa.    Thanks Nandhini - I've got Autodesk Sketchbook on my android phone and tablet but haven't used it for a while.  Used to do quite a bit of digital on an old tablet until it died and I lost everything I hadn't saved externally.  I've seen a few folk use Procreate. Re digital, have you seen the work of Skylar on here?  He is very good and uses digital pretty much all the time.

Another quick (ish) watercolour (not much time spent putting paint on - a lot more doing other things whilst waiting for very wet paint to stop dripping!)  A beach in Kintyre from one of my photos.  A bit bigger this time and a change in format.

A grand weathery watercolour Margaret. Great sky and colours. I’m loving your washes! Nandhini, I really like Skylars work as well, very cleverly done.
Starting my day with a walk on part of the Wardens Way which passes where we live and goes on across this part of the Cotswolds. 2B, 4B and 7B pencils.
Its good to practice watercolour washes Margaret, something I hav'nt done in a while and Tessa that's a cracking sketch !!
That’s a cracking good sketch drawn plein air Tessa, Margaret’s watercolours are inspiring me to get my watercolours out! I’ve started another oil WIP this morning from sketch book scribbles, up to stage two - I will post my efforts again as a few of you did find my last one interesting.  I’ve used a warm brown base/ground this time made with burnt umber and ultramarine, perfect for working up a snow scene on.
Lovely sketch Tessa - looks like you live in a wonderful place for sketching.   Look forward to seeing your watercolours Alan (and Linda?) Tried to do a very quick version of Bernardine Evaristo from the Sky Arts Portrait of the Week online video https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=576604829878347 - it was live last Sunday morning but I had no internet then and this week has not been conducive to concentrating on a portrait!   Started far too late this morning whilst simultaneously making bread - not a good idea as neither turned out well!   Quick and very wet watercolour (wasn't going too badly but ran out of time - might have managed to finish it if I hadn't been hungry!) and tried to pull it together in about 2 minutes with watercolour marker pen!   Fairly large - 162 x 20" I think.

Hi Margaret, you inspired me to get my watercolours out this afternoon, will post it later, and funnily enough I've used Windsor and Newton watercolor marker pen on some of it. Haven't watched any of the portrait programs and don't do Facebook but your portrait looks good
Watercolour plein air painting whilst sat in garden, outlined with Windsor and Newton watercolour marker pen in Paynes Grey and given a light wash. I have put yesterday's date on instead of the 8th.
Thank you Linda :)  Glad I inspired you to get your watercolours out!   That's a lovely peaceful scene and the mix of watercolour and wc marker pens has worked beautifully - I forgot to put a wash over the pens today I was in such a rush!  I really like these marker pens, I used indigo today but I must admit I like the Payne's Grey one a lot too (and Sepia).
