Excellent sketch Anjana - good to see you posting here again, and a lovely joyous antelope, Dixie.
Great pose with the antelope Dixie.  This is My sketch for today, listening to people talking about what they miss, grandparents especially. I called it The Hug.
That’s what I. Miss the most, hugging my granddaughters. Lovely sketch Tessa.  In the photo of the springbok , I was much higher in the air, I. Started to near. The bottom of the paper.
Such a lovely sketch, Tessa. Busy day including working on my Rankin portrait - not finished but put in Gallery.  Very quick sketch of some biscuits I baked. EDIT - now managed to get a photo that is the right way up and in focus!

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. Great sketch of a springbok in action Dixie, beautiful tulips Margaret, Tessa - the hug - such a meaningful sketch, will strike a chord with so many.  Oops missed your biscuits Margaret they look yummy 😋 they disappear very quickly in our house specially in this lockdown.

Mmm home made biscuits! They do look good and wouldn’t last long in our house either. This sketch is from my morning walk. I posted a different version a month or so back but I’m planning a project to put these together- somehow! PS I see some idiot has posted four nonsense adverts for a game. I’ve reported one. Makes me mad! One would be bad enough. 😤

That's beautiful Tessa, love the composition and little hint of colour. Mine is a sketch of Mr S Basu neurosurgeon at QMC, from a  photo taken on his first day back, after recovering from covid19, an emotional day for both him and the team.
Love your biscuit sketch Margaret, I made some strawberry buns yesterday and I've got some brown bread on the go this morning, comfort eating 😂 Tessa love your sketch just as it is and Anjana that's a great drawing, so glad he's over this horrible virus' we do need our NHS workers who are doing a wonderful job, 🙏🙏🙏
Took this picture on my morning walk yesterday if you are interested in sketching it Paul

I have had three attempts at this Linda, and I’m having a problem, it’s not as easy as it looks . I won’t give up and intend to have another bash at it.gota double shot for some reason?.

I do like that sketch Tessa with just a little colour - works so well, and that is a beautiful drawing, Anjana.   Linda, strawberry buns sound lovely!   This week I have made banana loaf, wholemeal bread, these oatie biscuits and walnut squares - though I have been baking these biscuits regularly for a while, don't usually eat many other cakes - that has changed during lockdown!
All the talk of cake, biscuits and bread is making me hungry, great sketches as well. This little watercolour sketch I did out on the patio, it an old watering can that develop a leak several years ago. I planted it up instead of throwing it out, it’s done well for the pat three years, this is the best it’s looked for a long time. I have often thought it would be great with blue flowers.
Oh sorry about the photo Paul, it was just a thought, your watering can looks great and well painted. Bread turned out a disaster!!! old yeast out of date lol. My afternoon sketch from yesterday when my daughter and granddaughter met up for the first time since lockdown, I presume my son-in-law took the photo!!
