Nice sketching everyone. Here is a 10 minute sketch of HMS Benbow. I'm doing a few quick sketches of it to get a feel for it as I'm planning to try an oil painting in choppy sea's. I ran out of paper and missed the top of the ship off. It's not in scale because it's only a quick sketch. Hoping to make a start on Sunday, so I'll get a few sketches done by then.

Thursday night is Zoom night with Mary Anne Bartlett  from Art Safari. Last night we did “ monkeys”  .  I sit with a very small iPad and a G&T,  myopically looking at the screen. She gives just a couple of mins to draw the little sweethearts . These are just a few of mine . These are Japanese snow monkeys .Apart from the one in profile on the right, he is a baboon from Zambia.

Twas quite large Marjorie.  Why not.  Another quickie sketch of poppies,  I adore poppies they are “ Summer” .  Watercolour with arty pen to scribble over the top.

Thank you Bari.   I do use a pen but quite differently from you.   I am not a very precise or controlled picture maker…. No Marjorie not yet started on the tipple .   I just enjoy mark making in a very free way.  Bless your bricks.  You do know what your name would be here in Wales don’t you Bari ?

My grandmother was a Welsh speaker and I had an uncle,  Harry the Soap , so I suppose I'm Bari the Brick.🤣
