Quick sketch while waiting for friends to get their boots on for a 7ml walk round Daresbury, with a pint in the pub garden ,first for 18 months,  at the end.
Well to say I started Mays sketch a day I have only managed one contribution so well done everyone for keeping at it especially Bari! Some super work! I have been somewhat bogged down with my move and trying to get snagging sorted out.But I now have a chair for my studio ( in pieces!) so I hope to get back to some sketching and painting!
Good luck Gillian, glad you’ve finally made the move. It’s always a stressful time but hopefully you’ll get that chair sorted and your art gear set up soon!
Best of luck with the sorting Gillian, they do say moving is one of the most stressful things you can do. Switch off and chill out with a sketch or two 🤔
Cheshire farmhouse,   Quick pen&wash journal sketch on a 5ml walk around Lymm, very lucky to miss the rain showers.
I've started experimenting with inking & cross-hatching
Not done this day, but did it when I could.  It was at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen the last time there was one.   Anyone who has never been to one it’s an amazing day.and worth it.  These threewere part of a group of about seven Indians all making an unholy noise and enjoying them selves.  I sat and scribbled with my crayons and pen.   No finesse no anything apart from fun and enjoyment  they saw me scribbling and threatened to blow a trumpet in my ear.  Lovely memory and that is what my sketches are about.
