Great sketches Alan, quite a selection and profound too, keep up the super drawings they are great! Nice ones of the hippos and zebra and the comic sketch of the terrier peering at the post-box, and fine-line of the boat with passengers. they would make good comic strips or picture postcards!
Thank you Angela, and I will take this opportunity to welcome to the forum to. Here is a quick from a conversation with Lewis several weeks ago.
Welcome Angela. Lots of great work since I last looked in, particularly like the cranes Paul. From me a selection of watercolour cards in anticipation of our art group getting back together and having an exhibition.
Great sketch Alan, looking really good. Katy your cards are wonderful. I've just done a sketch, I'm about to paint it. Not sure how or how it will turn out.
You have all been busy! I have just done a quick pastel pencil sketch of a lily.

Its interesting to see the development of the painting as the pencil sketch sets the image in place. I think I viewed the painting in the gallery with the extreme light shed upon the chamber of the room,  can remember the chair with shadow some wonderful progress Denise and nice to view your work in the forum.
Once again some nice sketch’s posted from me a watercolour sketch I painted engine a loose and then added a bit of pen. One of those sketches that you do to pass the time rather than a full painting, fun to do i
