Some lovely colours in your work Tessa, enjoy the cricket Alan. From me today a still life sketch, done on very cheap paper, won’t use it again.
Thanks Dixie. That’s a nice old lamp, quite complicated to draw but looks good. Mine for today is one I did earlier in the week while watching Joanna Lumley in the Caribbean wearing one of her wafts gowns!
Nice work again Tessa and Dixie. Was at my sketch club today so here's the brief and sketch for today.
Interesting challenge Christopher and the sepia look adds to the idea of a Georgian interior. Out of interest does your group follow up these weekly themes or is it more aimed at variety each class and making the old grey cells tick over?!

Like your sketch of JL Tessa, Chris nice work. I’m thinking ahead today to the end of summer, pencil sketch from a photo taken at a  folk museum.
Enjoyed seeing all the lovely work on here - an amazing range.  I like the challenges Tessa and Christopher have been given by their art clubs - very intriguing.  Good to hear your daughter got out of hospital okay, Tessa, - sorry to hear it took so long.   Dixie, good to see your hands are better enough to let you do lovely drawing again.  and Tessa - Joanna Lumley to a T! Didn't go to my art class on Wednesday because of a bit of a cough (didn't want to pass it on - particularly at the moment) so set up a mandolin and tulips still life (both of them from the same day) - the other two are very small very quick sketches.

Lovely old engine and folk museum scene Dixie. Margaret, good to seeing your foursome, I especially like the mandolin pics and the little chap walking.
~good range of subjects again. Glad your grand daughter is ok Tessa. As I previously posted, junior cricket has interfered with my posting. But here is a rough idea of how I want my friends cottage to turn out.
Wonderful cottage Alan, lucky people! It’s my daughter not granddaughter, but thank you for that. This quick sketch was done from the car while hubby popped into the garden centre, took about ten minutes, looks like it come to think of it!
Well done again to every one who has done a sketch. Here's mine for today a old telephone box outside my local church.
Very nice foursome Margaret, you friends cottage painting will look brilliant the sketch is excellent Alan. Like the car park sketch Tessa and your phone box Christopher. My input today is of a Thames sailing barge, the actual painting leans to right, but for some reason it will only appear upright when posted. A6 watercolour.
I like the sailing barge Dixie very well done.
