Not sketch so far today , started a painting this morning stopped for lunch , went back took it of off the board and ripped it in two. It was not even worth Saving, it was a watercolour I had wanted too do, but could not get it right. So had a cuppa and started this one, the other was of an elephant, not much different.

I sometimes tear up a painting that’s not going well Dixie! I’m sure we’ve all done it, but this one looks like it’s going well. The angle of the plane all looks good so far.
I’m continuing with my attempts at loose watercolour sketches and these are two young Reed warblers from a photo in a book of British wild birds. I will probably do more to it, but that may wreck it!

Thanks Tessa, your loose paintings are getting better, something I did a lot when I first started painting then seem to he got out of doing them It not the first time I’ve torn up a painting, it one I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, Sod’s law it don’t work., still will try again at some stage.
