Nice work Jim, lovely looking tiger Alan, I do like your boat Gillian. I’m still with the animals  today, just started the layout  for an elephant sketch. I also have one planned as a painting so I’m using this sketch as a practice  for doing the painting. I should do more in-depth sketches as I find them relaxing and very rewarding.

Some great sketches going on, love your iron mountain Gillian and a good boat sketch, Tessa the lilies are good, are they Calla lilly, great portrait Jim, it positively glows, like your tiger Alan and a great elephant sketch Dixie, will it end up as a painting? Nice to see everyone still contributing.

I think this one will be a sketch Linda, might add just a  Hint of colours, not to much a it’s on drawing paper. I have another elephant that I want to include ( well I don’t personally have one) in a painting.

I am loving all the sketches I have to say!  I have a particular soft spot for elephants Dixie! I have tried in past ( about five years ago) but never finished it! Just dragged it out of my studio Maybe I should have go at it again!

Thought I’d keep up the animal theme especially elephants! Taken from a free online photo. Linda, yes I think they were Cala lilies, a waterside version which is where they were.

Inspired by the elephants, so over coffee today, and flicking through this months Leisure painter I  drew this. Also I happened to notice My Postman picture, and a sketch by Alan in this months magazine. Well chuffed.
