Love the expressions, especially the boy, obvious he doesn't want to be there.
You are right Sandra...be happier playing footy.thanks Denise.   I cut off the rest of the patients they were all too ill
A quick sketch
Little Puss cat.... struggled. Coloured pencil and a bit of pen. ...
It done really well Sylvia.
Sylvia, your struggle has been brilliantly successful: you've got all your strokes moving in the right direction, if you know what I mean ('course you will!), and described the puddytat shape perfectly.  Presumably Sam wasn't about at the time....
Sylvia, your puss is really lovely.  Like that blue.
That’s a “ purrfect” cat Sylvia ( sorry). You got the pose exactly right.

Hi I like the stuff that's been posted lately, particularly the fountain pen sketches from George, the rapid poses from Owen and Sylvia's cat. However I haven't posted much lately as I'm currently never happy with what I produce. I did go out today -  sat by the side of a lake and produced this with black watercolour pencil and chalk. Reasonably happy with the result for 30 minutes ish, and I particularly like the granulation you get with w/c pencils.   I recently joined a local art group and I find I actually like the discipline of having something portable to turn up with every week. Plus they are a nice bunch of like-minded souls who's eyes don't glaze over when I talk about masking fluid or watercolour paper.

I know, it's great isn't it. I look forward to Fridays when our group meets, and told them so.  We're all glad that we found a place and kicked it off!
Gillian Cool. Not long now before the structure is hidden in foliage... oooh just had a thought that perhaps you might do a series showing the changes.  Or is this part of a collection of trees?
